The union leadership and the representation of unemployed, raise the urgent necessity that they take the three macroprojects of gold and the kaolin, designed to develop them in Kilometer 88, of the parish San Isidro, Sifontes municipality, like mechanism to lower the high index of unemployment that stays in the zone, expressed Heberto Valencia, Secretary General of the union of the construction - Sutic of the South and the director Felicio Montaño. The macroprojects

The projects that are in phase of starting, are Breezes of the
Cuyuni, corresponding to a located auriferous deposit between the Claritas and Kilómetro 88. According to saying is had, this project counts on all the permissions but it is limited that the works are by stages. Apparently, it faces difficulties for beginning. The project Breezes of the Cuyuni, depends on a subsidiary, the Corporation Reserves, whose president is the engineer Arturo Rivero.

Another one of the important projects, is the Cristinas whose
concessionaire is the CVG and the operator is the Crystallex
transnational company. According to the information that is had, the organisms of State have approved the collections presented/displayed for the starting. One said that lately, Crystallex received the notification of which being approved environmental the projects presented/displayed, it was left slope that Crystallex solved the guarantee that is required in these cases, indicating itself that the guarantee was contracted and the collections were given to satisfaction. Everything is awaiting permission to start.

The other project is an ecological kaolin refiner. This company that
is member of the Ruscaolín group, has made important investments in the place where it will be the plant, in kilometer 88. Ruscaolín acquired the old facilities of a kaolin producer of the place, where it has made investments in studies and others, also it waits for final proceedings. This company has projected to install another plant in Puerto Ordaz, from where kaolin would go to the national supplying and the export.

Labor uses and conflicts
