Very dip thoughts by the author obviously is taking about Chavez .

I had to read it twice to enjoy it. The translation ruins it a little.

The tragedy of a man
Liko Perez

Wednesday, December 3, 2008

Blinded and totally alienated from reality, advances the lieutenant colonel in the darkness of his fantasies. Windmills crack of pain to his advanced. The ovations, born of his need to hear what it numbs, which sirens rumbles that attracted a mentaly disarmed Ulises. And nothing for his dizzying career goes back and, increasingly, like Icarus thirsty fire redeemer, to the heights of no return, the immolation or the celestial world of gods and unattainable for thousands of Greek mythology.
The mantles of laurels accumulate under their feet, the trumpets of glory resonate with martial rhythm and squeaks of the Roman cuadrigas lull its unstoppable advance.

Never before has the gods were as flesh and blood and viscera of very earthly and fluids as it is today. No, this time, although stunned by the unexpected revelation, can we, mere mortals, feel the reality of life in the dead.

A man well and there does not exist at the same time, it's like an eternal pendulum which oscillates between the shadow and light.

The tragedies of Shakespeare come alive in these spontaneous performances on the follies of power, about the follies of the identities of the deep ravines and on doubts that we impose on "to be or not to be."

From the stage, the people, the audience of this tragicomedy, the expected fall of the curtain, the sudden denouement, the end of the fantasy to return to everyday life and the pragmatism of a simple and healthy think.

Those who miss this literary work in life, will miss the lesson that so often gives us the art with its comedies and tragedies (thoughtful fictions that help us shedding the unhealthy exaggerations of fantasy).

Fanfares and soon hear the end of Revelation suggests that Cervantes, those of the "immortal" of Borges, the "new world" of Huxley and "storm" of Shakespeare.

The king of Sabaneta (which it believes is about to achieve) may soon be able only to distract people's future hearings, as many as there are no characters in world history for all the arts that we succeed in making both laugh, both mourn, both suffer and especially both of us aware of our humble status of mere mortals in this wonderful world of land and salt.

For the duration of the mise en scene, enjoy the bread and circuses from this bizarre function that gives us the order chosen.

And do this (the enjoy it) without losing consciousness that such a mise en scene, chosen by himself, the only person unaware of how everything has to end, it is the first actor.

We who have read about the tragedies of power, we already know the unfortunate end
