Like anything, change takes getting used to. The layout, once familiar, will be fine. The thread view aids in continuity with regards to the initial post and was badly needed. The administrators will highlight all the new features soon. I especially like this:

"You may edit this message within the span of next 15 minutes."

Now if we only had an advanced search... (Hint, hint, lol)
