They save all their cash and equipment to put into a mine somewhere else.

They can start legal proceedings against Venezuela immediately for $300 million already expended plus a billion and a half for lost profits. Once the Vens officially throw them out they can move the very next day.

They pick up $500 million from Rusoro/Endeavour in the Canadian courts.

Let's add that up. OK $1.8 billion plus the $100 million already in hand. That's close enough to $2 billion coming in in the next couple of years. $36 a share less a bit for expenses, say $30 a share in round figures. I can wait a couple of years for that sort of return!
