I agree BUT like I said, it is not MY opinion but I believe that of VZ. If you take over a company, say ABX, then you can be ABX not KRY anymore. That is what VZ would want to approve first. Is it proper from a legal perspective, no but conversely, ABX would be on the hook for what KRY is obliged to do for VZ. Two sided coin. It all depends on which said you WANT!
