Hello, everyone. After lurking for the better part of a year, I've decided to introduce myself. I originally invested in KRY in late 1997 and posted on the original stockhouse board as Nomar. In the last few years, I've posted on Arborwood as nomarss. Rob Bonger can vouch for me.
Got killed in the debacle of June, 1998. Invested over $60,000 and foolishly, most of that was credit card money. Eventually lost most of it and was actually mentioned by Bob Bishop in a talk as an example of betting the farm on KRY. After being taken in by the JAWS scam (anyone hear of it?), had to declare bankruptcy. Was totally out of KRY for a while but was drawn back in when developments seemed to warrant optimism. Have been in and out but am now in for about 15,000 shares in regular and retirement accounts at an average price of somewhere between $2 and $3.
Have been very pessimistic about KRY prevailing for the last few months but this latest surge in price and volume, the buying by RM and the other director, and the slam dunk PR by Gold Reserve is giving me some hope.
My complements on a terrific board with many intelligent posts and a refreshing lack of mindless slamming. Glad to be a member.
