The sp of GRZ has no bearing whatsoever on assuring the deal/takeover will go through. The sp of the company being bought always attains, or at least very closely matches, the sp of the offer/bid.
How an investor/trader/speculator handles the situation depends. They can sell their shares whe sp gets close to deal/offer. Or, they can wait it out until the other company takes over and receive the compensation/deal provided by the takeover company, if it happens. Another option is the deal falls through, that they continue holding their shares thinking that sp will continue to climb.
Selling, at or near deal/offer price is probably the best bet as there is no guarantee, and if one wants to get into the takeover company, typically the sp depresses because of the expendeture, which gives a good entry point. If the takeover/deal does not go through, or is pulled from the table, usually the target company sp is depressed immediately, which gives for a good entry point.
What folks here opinionate concerning future sp is just speculation about a spec stock.
