I was the first to welcome him. I was completely unaware of the history. Personally, it did not seem that the posts were that bashing in nature, but I happen to be very, very tolerant of criticism and understand that there are many folks who consider this stock as an emotional investment.

I thought that his posts needed to be brought down a few notches because he was a newbie. I even Pm'ed him to bring it down a few notches. The suits here did what they thought was appropriate and best for the Board.

I do agree that a person's reputation should not be reason to immediately ban them. However, I do know that it is well known here (and I imagine on the other posting sites) that newbies here need to not go straight to blazing guns right out of the starting gate.
