Crystallex International Corporation is a Canadian-based gold company with a successful record of developing and operating gold mines in Venezuela and elsewhere in South America

>I find it difficult to read your article on the situation in
>Venezuela, concerning the three above mentioned companies. You are
>obviously very biased in favour of Rusoro.
I am in favor of anything that moves Venezuela along positively -- if
the previous companies are unable to do it, welcome someone who can!
>You paint Rusoro, and Andre Agapov as these knights in shinning
>armour, while defiling KRY, and Gold Reserve.
Your subjective opinion -- and you are entitled to it, although of
course it is ridiculous!
>You refer to GRZ shares as being virtually worthless, and call Doug
>Belanger self- indulgent.
....well, he is!
>What, because he is fighting for his company, and his shareholders?
If that were so, I would applaud it. History has, however, shown
that Belanger only fights for his own pocket!
>What, pray tell, should the president of a company that sits on
>about 10 mil. ounzes of gold do? You sound very much like a bully
>who is telling a coloured kid that he has nothing to live for.
Come, come ... pray take a look in the mirror! I don;t know who you
are (or care, really) but you must face reality!
>It's very disgusting, seeing as GRZ SP was double that of RML not long ago.
Not my concern, I am only a reporter!
>Andre Agapov is obviously someone who needs the lime light to feel
>fulfilled, and uses half truths, rumours, and passes off old news as new.
Scarcely -- he is a very quiet-spoken man and is quite unused to the
limelight -- as witness the video interviews I have done with him.
>He does everything he can to make GRZ shareholders afraid of losing
>all, and sell out. No wonder GRZ fights back. What would such a
>smart guy like you do, eh? Would you sit back and take all this BS?
BS? Your subjective opinion again! If Agapov can move the projects
forward in a positive light for Venezuela and if they (GRZ) can't ...
well I am in favor of anything that will benefit Venezuela and
Venezuelans! Quite simple really!
>Not likely. If you talk like this when supposedly you are not benefiting,
...like Belanger?
>I wonder how you would be if you were fighting for your own investment.
I am constantly fighting for more than 15 years of "investment" in
VHeadline Venezuela News despite all the crap-shooters who come out
of nowhere with their heavily subjective and usually ignorant
opinions dictating what Venezuela and Venezuelans should do to
fulfill a supposed nirvana you have yourselves created.
>Why do you act like a pompous know-it-all, when all you do is repeat
>rumour, interview a company president who is so full of himself
>thaty he reeks, and act like you are getting it all from the horses mouth?
Oy, oy, oy! Very very subjective. But I repeat -- I am only a
reporter -- "getting it all from the horses mouth" is the name of the
game -- you the reader are supposed to have achieved a high enough
level of intelligence to discern what you want to discern from
information given.
>NOTHING official has been said in the last several months that
>changes anything concerning GRZ and KRY situations with VZ.
No? What about President Chavez' speech on Tuesday?
>You act as though you are the mouth piece for Chavez and Agapov.
Reporters are always (erroniously) considered to be mouthpieces for
whichever interest/person they are quoting --- I guess I must liove
with that abominable fact of life?
>What's in it for you, to act so much like a Ass.
Subjective -- but you could be right! ;-))
>There is no sense denying any connection with RML, because there are
>so many ways to hide the fact.
Yes, I did put in a telephone call to Rusoro in Caracas yesterday,
and yes, I did try to get in touch with Crystallex' Richard Marshall
and quite a few other contacts related to the newsflow. I didn't
bother to try to contact Belanger because I didn't want to have to
suffer another foul-mouthed 40-minute diatribe... He burned his own
boats a long time ago by how own indecencies.
>And to say that the shareholoders are 'groupies who are waitng at
>the end of the rainbow for riches.
The comparison is valid. Groupies usually hang around a stage door
hoping to realize their dream of getting together with their star --
sometimes they get ****ed, sometimes they get to meet the star, most
times they just hang around getting more and more desperate!
>My god, I would expect you to know something about how companies of
>all types, in every type of venture, get their companies going, and
>expanding. Investors and shareholders are the backbone of modern
>bussiness. I have ALL my retirement money tied up in KRY. Do I want
>to see my investment make money? Damn staight I do. Do I long for
>and expect 500-1000 %? NO.
You made a personal decision -- we all make personal decisions -- we
all have to live with them!
>KRY is a responsible Canadian company, that has spent millions
>planning a responssible mine, doing millions in social projects, and
>you have the nerve to call every investor, from the 100 share person
>to the 4 million share funds, a 'groupie'.
I have nothing against Crystallex or its executives or anyone
involved with it! I believe I have got on rather well with them over
the last decade and I have appreciated their professionalism (unlike
Belanger's buffoonery!). The fact is that there is a new scenario --
a new ball game -- a reporter follows the play!
>Sneering at them as if they are trying to rip off VZ.
Well ... isn't that the problem ... from a Venezuelan perspective?
>KRY negotiated a Contract with VZ. That was what VZ wanted. It was
>to be THE MODEL by which other mines would work.
FACT: Things change! The United States used to be the land of
freedom! Russia used to be Soviet! Concord used to fly the Atlantic
Ocean at more than the speed of sound.....
>Now, the way you are describing things, KRY is trying to rip of the
>Venezuelan people.
No -- I have described how some of the Venezuelan people (the ones
most directly affected by it, who I visited over the Christmas
period) see it -- that's what a reporter does!
>Most have not a clue what this is about, and certainly they are not
>told what it is about by there own leader.
I reported what the grassroots people were telling me... Chavez
speaks for himself -- as he did on Tuesday, basically confirming what
I had already written based on what I was already hearing more than a
month ago!
>It is the shareholders that are in danger of getting ripped off with
>your help.
Investment is risky -- and I am NOT a shareholder in any company,
VHeadline is my own particular millstone and quite frequently I also
feel I am being ripped off by idiots who castigate me for reporting
what is to be reported and who do not understand that my/our
allegiance is uniquely to Venezuela and Venezuelans!
>If one looks close, it is you and RML that are passing out the BULL,
>trying to scare investors, trying to drive down the SP, and trying
>to rip off a company and all it's ordinary shareholders, for GRZ's
>cash, gold, and operable mine, at an insulting price.
I am NOT an investment adviser, I do NOT have the technical expertise
... or interest anyway! ... to do what you claim, so your comment is
completely insane.
>Just wait, and try using a little more professionalism in your
>writing. You are a disgrace to the writing profession. You've
>obviously been bought, one way or the other.
Yadda Yadda! I wish I could copy to you the same excrement I
received twelve years go from Placer Dome groupies when I first wrote
about the Las Cristinas Saga and Crystallex' involvement in it! I am
still working on the breadline but I am very satisfied with my chosen
career after almost a half-century in the business of writing,
broadcasting and publishing!

PS: While I can express personal sympathy for you in your supposed
plight, you knew the risks, you made the choices and -- like everyone
else -- you have to live with them! Nevertheless, while the
temporary clouds may appear to be dark you may take consolation in
the old adage that it is most often darkest just before dawn!
