I agree with no_bear that for any financial investment in VZ the outlook is pretty bleak and for sometime to come Chavez will be very pushed to find partners,

but money is the king of all evils and eventually he will find investors to tap in to the riches of his country; he is already dangling a sweetened carrot to the oil industry .

As for the gold GFI seems to be a logical candidate .

They are already a very large partner of RML and knowing the amount of gold sitting into the ground , having inside information,could be tempted to reinvest once will become obvious that the permit to mine is going to be granted.
