A lot of this sounds like political posturing. Unfortunately replacing something with something else that is identical (except for the colour) is still seen as a change politically... so moving Venrusso(?) into KRY's position while still netting the same effect for Vz (even if there is a cost) is still just political. Sounds a lot like Vz wants to dance with the Soviets.

This really bugs me. Romania has been hostile towards a Canadian mining company... and now it looks like Vz is also turning hostile towards Canadian mining companies... It really has me concerned over Canada's precieved strategic value to these countries...

Nobody seems to be concerned about pissing off Canada...
