FWIW I am a CA specializing in taxation and I also have a fair knowlege of the mining and financial sectors. Over the years I have read many articles, in ENGLISH, written by ENGLISH reporters, where facts are totally misconstrued and "quotes" are reported totally out of context. This generally occurs when reporters attempt to report on subjects in which they have little or no expertise.
So now you compound this with articles that are written in Spanish, and depending on the context, can be translated a number of ways. There is no single language in the world that translates word for word into English. So the bottom line? Well I have always invested based on the age old adage of "Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see".
