Rafael Angel Reyes.

The Chinese investor group that operates under the name of Jin Yan of
Venezuela, decided to return to CVG Minerva, the historic mine Mendez
Sosa, Caratal located in the area of El Callao.

There were no references certain about the reason for the withdrawal
of the Chinese gold business in El Callao, but indicated that his
business was in decline, because of nearly 70 kilos of gold produced
each month, fell to 20, whose production could not carry a payroll of
325 employees.

Indeed, about three years ago there was a kind of openness to
investment in the gold industry and some businesses were located on
parcels of gold CVG Minerva. Among these companies is Draft Mineral
Guiana-PMG, which is now under Russian capital, in signing Rusoro
Mining Company and Jin Yan who was confirmed as has thrown in the
towel. To determine the valuation of assets of the china company, is
operating a special commission. It has been reported that the most
important thing of this assessment, human capital is made up of 325
workers.

It was reported that the committee that hears the company's assets,
taking into account that the investment made by Chinese in the mine
Mendez Sosa, is minimal, because even built processing plant material
gold. The company drew material from that mine and gives it to CVG
Minerva to the Molo plant in Peru, to then hand him the gold, with
the respective deductions.

Assets and assume the payroll Minerva

About this valuation process and transfer of assets from Jin Yan of
Venezuela, talked with Rafael Angel Reyes, a member of the committee
involved in the process of transfer of assets.

Reyes said that although he initially was part of the commission,
decisions are taken by the engineer Luis Herrera, president of CVG
Minerva, admitting however that the process running smoothly.

Reyes consulting why are the Chinese and replied:

- That is not what is. They leave because they are going. They are
picking up everything.

Will the mine has not produced them to continue operating?

- As I said, this information did not handle.

We comment to Reyes then they were producing about 70 kilograms of
gold per month and now lowered production.

- What is it that the last contribution of material for the Minerva
Mol, only produced 20 kilos of gold. Percent, this material was on
the ground floor of La Camorra, in El Dorado, which was Hecla and is
now part of the National Mining Company. The Camorra The plant was
being reactivated. Minerva supplies material for milling.

Mina historic

The mine is part of Sosa Mendez reservoir gold historic El Callao.
This mine became known because in 1936, when the famous oil strike of
Zulia, the conflict was issued against those companies where
engineers Americans managed Venezuelan personnel.

Aware of history that relate action strikers arrived at Callao and
more specifically the Sosa Mendez mine who was in full production, in
the hands of an American company. The industrial action engineer
determined that no American could manage Venezuelan workers. They
query whether there was any engineer or technician Venezuelan order
for the mine, but not to find it, resolved that the functions of the
engineer assumed caporal oldest and this was Rubens Warner.

In the end, the mine was abandoned and its galleries around 175
metres deep, were filled with water. The achique of the mine, was a
major work that made the Chinese.
