Once he's comfortable that Obama is not going to try and topple his government perhaps he can FOCUS on the VZ economy. He seemed convinced that Bush was out to get him and that was the main reason for the whole Russian engagement.

He may have believed that Bush was "out to get him" and there may have been some truth in that given the coo attempt. My guess is that if Bush was "out to get him" Hugo would have been toast a long time ago. You will notice by his recent public statements that Hugo has assigned Obama the new Imperialist Villain role. Imo...this will not change as a result of any "improved dialogue" with the United States. Hugo needs a villain to blame his own failures on. Expect more of the same.
