There are all sorts of conclusions/scenarios that could be happening here. With what we have presented before us is that KRY has been encouraged by discussions and still communicating with officials.

Then we look at GRZ and a bid by Rusoro. Maybe Rusoro doesn't just want the gold and cash but maybe some of these kaolin deposits site close or on Brisas as well.

One thing to remember in all of this is if the Russians want the Kaolinite and there is some on Brisas then they can't just go in and take it because of GRZ's concession.

With KRY/LC they just have a contract and don't own the concession the CVG does so if the CVG wants the Russian to mine the kaolinite on LC they will just let them.

Could it be the Russians want the Kaolinite and Brisas gold and LC is left to KRY since they are already under contract anyways?
