The warning was made by Juan Gomez, secretary general of CVG Sunep
who said that all companies that offer a percentage of their profits
to the CVG liquids were separated, leaving the corporation dividends
to address the progress and development of the region Since
progressive detachment of the main holding companies belonging to the
Venezuelan Guayana Corporation-CVG-like Edelca, Sidor, and soon
Ferrominera Orinoco Alcasa, Venalum, Bauxilum Carbonorca and the
union leadership Sunep CVG warned of the possibility of eliminating
the corporation as a body leads to progress and prosperity for the
people of the Guayana region.
The warning was voiced by John Gomez, general secretary of that
union, who said that all companies that offer a considerable
percentage of their profits to the CVG liquids were separated,
leaving Gil and Hato virtually andalusia andalusia Sales of Goods and
Properties as the only sources of income to the corporation.
"These two agencies can not bear the economic burden of over three
thousand workers, let alone all the projects that are in the files
they seek out for a region that still lacks much to make progress."
In that sense, Gomez gave the president of the CVG and Minister of
Basic Industries and Mining-Miban, Rodolfo Sanz, to explain to all
staff of the corporation which will be the destination and the
essence of CVG since without the resources provided by its former
subsidiaries, there functionality for decentralizing authority.
"It is not Juan Gomez Sunep or CVG, those who want to know the fate
of the CVG, but all workers and residents, who see the corporation as
the organization that provided welfare and development of all types
to the region."
The union leader also said that another of the questions is presented
with the possibility of eliminating the CVG, is what will be the
north of the corporation, because they do not have incoming resources
provided by non-core businesses there planning, advocacy and
coordination for the comprehensive and sustainable development of
Guyana.
"The reality makes us ask what will happen with all projects and all
the human capital that was formed to give life to a region which
today sees a development proposal would be to provide global customer
service."
Revolution without progress
The union leader was needed to criticize the management of the
government with high operational treatment of the CVG during the 10
years of the revolution in power, where the corporation was playing a
passive role in the progress of the region. "We are currently in late
development in the region since the revolution off the principles and
actions of the CVG in our region."
Gomez said that this late stage in the region began with the creation
of the Ministry of Basic Industries and Mining-Mibam, which left the
administration without the CVG of the money produced by the companies
of the holding, since all would flow to the productive Mibam.
She also said that with the elimination of CVG, all claims relating
to industrial firms must be channeled by the Mibam, which still has
no physical space in the region, "the whole issue of business will be
more centralized and raise a traumatic claim. "
The union leader concluded by appealing to the entire workforce
cevegista wake of slumber and face the direction of foreign CVG,
which wants to eliminate in a progressive manner. "Do not expect us
to keep the avalanche comes to fight, so call to resistance and
struggle, as they are not our jobs but it is progress in the region."
