I'd have to agree with repair.. There is too much fear mongering going on in the media at large and the populous have fallen victim to it. Then we have the likes of Jim Willie & Sinclair spreading even more fear. When the people fall prey to fear then they are easily controlled and manipulated and government power grows.. We'd think that through the generations we'd have learned something...

If gold is the only place to "hide" then I'd say "capital preservation" is the least of our worries.
