Crystallex maintains communication with Senior Government Officials in the Venezuelan Administration and/or Agencies involved in the oversight of mining activities in Venezuela.

To date, no one has approached Crystallex regarding the terms of the Mine Operating Contract and no one has advised the Company of any deficiencies in the contract. Thus there have been no negotiations regarding the Contract or terms of the Contract.

As per the Crystallex news release dated November 28, 2008 “It is Crystallex's intention to settle the dispute amicably within six months. If the dispute has not been settled amicably within six months, Crystallex has the option of submitting the dispute to international arbitration.”

The Company will update investors upon any material news or changes through news releases and/or regulatory filings.
