I know that some underwriters hedge themselves by taking massive short position in financing using over allotment and warrants (when issued ) to cover positions, dilution most often send the stock into a death spiral, there are many ways to get around the restricted period for selling stock, should the stock fall underwriters still gain, hence any negative news may be good for them, in attempting to complete a financing who knows what goes on behind the scenes, not saying this is happening here, but given the players.......
