Attorney General indicts opposition leader for corruption

The Attorney General Office formally charged Manuel Rosales, former governor of Zulia state and current mayor of Maracaibo, of alleged embezzlement, said the Attorney General Office in a statement.
The indictment was filed in the Office for the Distribution of Proceedings, in Zulia state (in northwestern Venezuela), by 11th National Prosecutor Katiuska Plaza, who filed 26 records, 12 of which are related to a thorough research made by the Attorney General Office, and the remaining 14 came from the researches made by the Comptroller General Office.
