With the main target to promote, to coordinate, to manage and to support industrial, mining, farming, piscicultural, forest and agro-industrial the consolidation of programs and projects, that contribute with the increase of the production and processing of different headings; the Venezuelan Corporation of Guayana (CVG) through the General Management of Productive Networks has driven a number important of far-reaching projects in the region and with the company/signature mission to consolidate the Endogenous Development of the Region of Guayana.

It emphasized thus it, the manager of Agro-industrial Development, August Caesar Moncada, who aimed that the projects that they assemble and they promote from the CVG have the purpose of fortifying the productive sectors, guaranteeing the harmonic development and sharp of the Guayana region.

It is possible to stand out that, the General Management of Productive Networks is constituted by the following areas: miner, industrialist and agriculturist, agro-industrial and forest.

Agro-industrial action in march

Three months in the management, have not been obstacles Moncada to back undertake the projects arisen for 5 years, as either for the assembly of new goals and plans for this 2009 that glimpses partner - productive.

It indicated that the objective of the department of Agro-industrial, is the one to promote projects for the establishment of promotional industries of raw material of agricultural origin, which have been you divide in 3 great areas of action: planta de Silos and Almacenajes, Agricultural Infrastructure Unit Agro-industrial and Projects, like so.

By the part of Silos and Storages, the 2 in City Bolivars, one in the municipality Raul Leoni and another one in San Francisco explained that four plants distributed in the state exist Bolivar; ordered to offer to reception, drying, stored and office of maize, as much of the public sector as prevailed.

Nevertheless, he made emphasis in the projects that are in march on the part of the governmental Corporation and beings, as they are it the assembly of the following plants: 1) Maize processor, for the flour obtaining, grazes and balanced foods; with an investment of Versus. F 6 thousands 300 and with a capacity of 17 thousand tons.

2) Processor of rice, that will be located in Ravine, and which already they have a 70% advance as far as equipment. The investment is of Versus. F 7 thousands

3) Mini plant of milky, for the buffalo milk processing and to obtain cheese milk mozarella, ricotta and cream. The work will be located in Uracoa, Monagas state and counts on an investment of Versus. F 3 thousands 700.

“It is important to emphasize that the Management supports to all the agro-industrial sector of the zone, for the formulation and development of projects arisen from the producers. Also we offered technical consultant's office to Companies of Social Production” Moncada indicated in addition that, the obtained financings have been thanks to the own CVG, beings of the local, regional and national Government; as well as of the Regional Bottom Guayana.

Also, they develop fish-farming project, for the fluvial development of the Axis Orinoco - It worries, of Cotton in Caicara of the Orinoco, recently approved by president Hugo Chavez; of Cacao in Amacuro Delta; Pulp of Fruits in Great Sabana and Caicara; Hojuela de Maíz, among others.

Projects for 2009

For the course of the year, the Management of Agro-industrial, has between its projects bases the impulse, consolidation and beginning of four (4) plants processors more for the headings of: balanced sugar fish, cane, fruits and foods.

Besides the projects partner - productive that are in execution, the Management of Agro-industrial has predicted to work by the impulse of the axis Orinoco - It worries, reason why from already they own five (5) ideas formulated projects, at present, to the department.

Thus Ing. Miriam Medina informed, coordinator of the department, next to Mahile Of La Mancha, project analyst; “one works for, a plant balanced food processor, milk, municipal slaughter house, fish and oil draws resin from”.

Combined to it, they are also working in a plan for the Axis Port Ordaz - Palúa, for the construction of plants of fruit, starch and maize.
