The remarks from VZ in November implied that KRY lost control of the project. A request for clarification on the status of KRY was sent to the Mibam. To date, they have not responded. Why?
No one knows why Mibam hasn't responded but I do know that the same remarks reported in the media that were attributated to Sanz we later denied by Sanz. Possibly Sanz feels he has already addresed the situation by making he denial at that time. I also think Kry took the opportunity to use the media remarks as a good reason to start the 6 month process to settle the dispute with being the aggresor.
However, on March 2nd, a confirmation that our MOC was in good standing was received from the CVG. The CVG is NOT the Mibam. They are a separate corporation who we have contracted with to operate LC. Yes we are waiting for the permit from the MinAmb. That's a separate issue IMO. The Mibam controls all mining in VZ. They would be the ones who can put to bed the confusion as to whether KRY is still in good standing or are they going to be cast aside.
I personally don't see the need for the letter coming from Mibam for the very reason you listed above. We have no contract with Mibam, we have a contract with CVG thus they should be the one issuing the letter saying we are still complient as Kry has maintained all along. This seems like proper procedure to me and falls in line with Kry doing everything by the book.
I love analogies so I'll use one. It's like asking your girlfriend if she is still in love with you and she doesn't respond. Then her friend says to you a while later, oh yeah, she still wants to go out with you. The question still remains.....does she love you or not. Sorry, couldn't think of another example! lol
