Agapov said the regulation should not change much as far as U.S. and Canadian companies are concerned because they have had no recent production of gold in the country. He also asserted there is not much likelihood of any significant production from either Las Cristinas or the Las Brisas gold projects, given the Venezuelan Government's efforts to take control of both properties.
He left the part out about Rusoro being a Canadian company. Is this a veiled assertion that only companies with the right "Russian" connections will get the necessary bank approvals to sell internationally at a profit.
Rusoro better be careful if they think they are going to begin mining Las Cristinas while KRY's body is still warm. I gotta believe that we could sue them in the Canadain courts...forgetting about how it would bolster our case in International Arbitration.
Agapov needs a punch in the mouth. Where is John Wayne when you need him?
