Argentine Congress to Hear Venezuelan Seizures, Cronista Says

June 2 (Bloomberg) -- Argentine industrialists today will present their complaints to Congress regarding Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez’s decision to seize factories owned by Argentina’s Techint Group, El Cronista newspaper said.

Leaders from business groups including the Argentine Industrial Union will also ask legislators this afternoon to reconsider plans to allow Venezuela to enter the Mercosur trade bloc, the Buenos Aires-based newspaper said.
