Opened water treatment plant in Las Claritas

Funded by Crystallex is geared to the processing of sewage.
The village of Las Claritas, located south of Bolivar State in Sifontes municipality, adjacent to one of the largest gold reserves in Latin America, and paradoxically is a town where a shortage of basic services, jobs and stable attention of the regional government.
This scenario was introduced in 2002 the company Crystallex with the permission of the CVG to explore the area and conduct feasibility studies of mineral exploitation of gold.

In the symbolic inauguration of the plant, which was already in operation, Fung said that when the conventions began "the most important thing was to use people to improve their quality of life."

The maintenance engineer of the mining company, Angel Brito, said that the investment was 900 thousand bolĂvares strong and wastewater processed by the plant from "the new sewer system" installed as previously indicated and that "crossing the street Las Claritas, Santo Domingo and Nuevas Claritas.
"This project has been developed and built by Venezuelan regional companies and cooperatives in the area," said Brito, emphasizing the creation of 50 jobs, in a population of over 3 thousand people.
