JC - Thanks again for your input. One thing to consider is that one of the jobs of the market makers is to maintain liquidity to encourage trading. My opinion is that very little of the trading has been actual trading lately. The bid ask is always kept between 3 and 4 digits to mask orders from the general public (who can only get level one or current bid ask data) 100 share trades go off here and there which would not be real trades considering the commissions would be higher than the stock cost. They are just trying to keep the flow and keep interest. Sometimes this can paint a false picture and get people on the bid or ask...once there are enough the real trade goes through. I don't know if they have some agenda or if they are just trying to keep it interesting but either way I think it will mess up technical indicators.

FYI - Nearly every day the stock closes a penny above where it is trading in the final minutes and always on a trade of 400 shares 1 to 3 seconds after the close.

We may see some increase in activity over the next few weeks as people sort out all of the recent news and decide if an arbitration play has enough reward. IMHO long term I think it does and will probably add a bit more as well. Personally I would love to see a return to volatility so I could trade her again!
