I seem to remember that Roy was a supporter for quite a while also. As I remember though, he ran into financial problems and was shutting down and asked for people who read his ramblings to subscribe. $75 a year rings a bell.

I think I saw a discussion on SH about the situation and one person stepped up to pay and then posted what was written for everybody else to read. Then it seemed he went away for a bit. I guess he was retrenching.

When he came back, it seemed he took his problems out on all who originally read him and didn't pay up to help him.

At least that was the feeling I had as events unfolded.
