I was totally against the option plan in 2008 AMG which was withdrawn, found management much less enthused since, could be totally wrong but maybe in retrospect in the money options could have influence them more to ensure a stronger share price as in previous years, at this point, does shareholder really cares what profit they make or what effect the minimal dilution will cause, the bottom line is getting the shares you and I own up in value, we try and use all the tools at our disposal for a positive outcome, I just feel its prudent to use management compensation to assist in increasing share value, it can't hurt imho
