Fedecámaras esteem that commerce in east has fallen 50%
Debt that Pdvsa maintains with contractors affected the operativity
In the Anzoátegui state, the retailers undergo a situation similar to the industralists of the Eastern Coast of the Lake. Although in the Eastern region there have been nationalizations of the no companies Petroleum contractors of Venezuela, and good part of the connected activities to the oil industry is active, Fedecámaras esteem that the commerce has undergone a 50% fall in which it goes of this year.
Luis Medina, president of the organization - Anzoátegui- chapter indicates that the main factor that has affected the decrease of the commerce is the debt that Pdvsa maintains with its contractors from November of the last year, which affected the operativity of transport companies, constructors and of maintenance.
Medina adds that during the last month Pdvsa it began to disburse resources to cancel the credits. Nevertheless, the industralist assures that the payments have been realised of irregular form, factor that nonaid to the total recovery of the commerce.
“In addition, at the moment we are living the consequences of the crisis that was at the beginning of year, when some contractors had to reduce their operations of way significant not to have money”, asserts.
Fedecámaras Anzoátegui not yet has entered in monetary terms the commercial decrease in the Tiger, Anaco and Barcelona. Nevertheless, Medina stands out that the fall in the activity also has generated losses of jobs.
The expectations are not positive, assures, because it adds that the companies made great investments in 2008 by the projects that the state industry handled, which in their majority were paralyzed.
