Minamb delivery resources conservation committee of the state of Bolívar
Ciudad Bolivar, Jul. 09 ABN .- A total of 37 committees of the state
conservationists Bolivar received Thursday by the People's Power Ministry for
the Environment (Minamb) the resources necessary to promote various projects of
educational and community nurseries.
The supply of resources was headed by Deputy Minister of Environmental
Conservation Minamb Jose Alexander Guevara, and was conducted in a moving
ceremony at the Park Leonardo Ruiz Pineda, in the capital bolivarense.
Guevara explained that the deputy minister handed in total resources by the
order of 727 thousand 900 bolivars to the implementation of eight projects and
25 educational community nurseries that will reforest areas affected by man in
seven municipalities in the state of Bolivar.
'This is the progress of the Mission Tree Socialist in the country where the
population is actively involved in the process of reforestation of areas damaged
by man and counteract the destructive effects of industrialization and global
warming, "said .
He noted further that the funds come directly from the presidency and are
delivered via the Mission Tree conservation committees throughout the country.
'This is a very great effort that our President Hugo Chávez Frías, in the midst
of a profound environmental crisis affecting the planet at this time, "he added.
He explained that the 37 projects involving 140 thousand men, women and children
to be responsible for their implementation, mainly with a view to installing
incubators for germination of seeds of native species to be planted in 441
hectares of land currently under recovery from the Minamb.
These nurseries have the capacity to produce annually more than 330 thousand
plants, most of which are native species of forests bolivarenses to be planted
in areas formerly devoted to artisanal mining of gold and diamond, as well as
public squares, avenues and areas for schools and colleges.

Likewise, also added that nurseries produce seedlings of species associated with
food and agro-forestry activities, such as guava, papaya, tomato, tangerine,
tamarind and various citrus fruits, which will allow many communities to
generate resources for food and self.
