After four days of mobilizations of the workers of the four companies of aluminum, minister of Basic Industries and Minería, Rodolfo Sanz, announced what already he had myself predicted: the additional cancellation of the interests of social benefits and days - but that yes divided.

Which informed that the debt by these concepts is of 213 million strong bolivars, will be discriminated of the following way: 70, 69 and 72 million strong bolivars, that will be cancelled the 31 of July, the 15 of September and the 31 of October, respectively. Of those resources, 82 million strong bolivars correspond to Alcasa, 10 to Carbonorca, 50 to Bauxilum and 70 million to CVG Venalum.

Sanz made a general paneo of the companies before giving the announcement and it did not give date for investments. It argued that neither president Chávez nor he are the guilty of the world-wide crisis, consequently stood out that sacrifices with the “savings are becoming of the revolution, money of all the Venezuelans”, to pay the legal and contractual commitments.

It showed like almost incredible that the workers think that the presidents of the companies can solve the payments, when the companies “are not generating contractual perform one's duty”.

Also, the minister resorted to the argument from which the high production costs plus the world-wide crisis have not allowed to arise to the companies, conclusion that has been repeated untiringly.

The holder of the Mibam did not indicate what is being made to reduce the production costs, when one of the main critics to its administration has been the swelling of the managemental lists in the industries.

Patience and more patience
The head of the Mibam ratified the presidents of the industry of aluminum and excused the management indicating: “Nothing is perfect”.

There was no previous meeting with the union leadership, investments for the companies of aluminum did not announce either and indicated that “by all means” it is believed in the participation of the workers.

About the 12:00 of the noon the minister appeared in the press room. Previous to his presence the assistant of also the president of the CVG, had announced that would not be opportunity for a round of questions, nevertheless, finally acceded.

In the meeting there was representation of about 50 employees who tried with their presence to indicate endorsement to the management of minister Rodolfo Sanz, also was the mayor of Caroní, Jose Ramon Lopez. The presidents of the four companies of aluminum (Carbonorca, Alcasa, Venalum and Bauxilum) also appeared in scene, endorsed by the minister.

There the minister congratulated the workers to those who he recognized to have brings back to consciousness of the conjuncture which the factories live and it requested patience to them, as also it recommended to them not to exacerbate the confliction since according to Sanz, that does not contribute to solve the problem.

“Blessed it is God”
“It is necessary to say a truth: if the price of aluminum does not recover, we are going to have to continue helping the companies, permanently we are going to be generating aid economic”, asserted.

The minister noticed the workers to them who the national Executive “does not have a piggy bank only for the companies of aluminum”. “Blessed it is God, that says somebody me from where, if everything what arrives at those companies is necessary to use it to pay list, pays and wage. In order to pay suppliers and not even for that they reach the income and president Chávez has had to help to these companies”.

Although one talked about the Socialist Plan Guayana 2019, said that he corresponded to him to the Chief of State to announce the implementation of this one and consequently the participation of the employees in the management.

As far as the resources that will be cancelled by concept of interests of described them to benefits like a “investment” and like part of the plan of aid of the industry of aluminum.

“Nothing extraordinary”

“For me that is not nothing extraordinary, is not a heroic act of anybody”, expressed the president of CVG when referring that for a year it comes fighting with this type from action. In this point it made a landmark and it emphasized that in Guayana there are “important economic interests”, thus is being attacked.

It explained that the commitments will be honored in the measurement that have the availability to do it, “because if it removes it to the president from other bottoms is money of all the Venezuelans”, reiterated. In relation to the utilities it stood out that they will be the same circumstances those that surround the problem, and in this it requested patience.

“Leaders of right: they put his brain in sequence”

Thus minister Rodolfo Sanz said to the union leaders of “right”: “they put its brain in sequence”, since in his opinion it is to have of the union organization to recognize that another “neoliberal” government had closed the companies and that however “the revolutionary government helped” them.

It misestimated “the catastrophic” prognoses and indicated that the Executive is open to strategic alliances but that he will be the top national agent chief executive who determines those resources. It did not say date for them, but it showed that it can have “surprises” to avoid the technical closing of CVG Bauxilum.

Nevertheless, subsequent to the meeting the president of CVG Bauxilum - Bald Jesus said that the resources for the company must be immediate and needed that in few weeks they must become, since the company no longer is in capacity.

In that sense, knowing that without CVG Bauxilum there is no aluminum the problem that surrounds to the companies follows without defining itself, placing in risk the jobs.
