Do you all remember the story about certain 'illegal' miners being given free reign to mine, for certain large payouts? I believe that Sanz was one of the ones mentioned as being involved, maybe Herrera too. Maybe someone can find that article...there were a number of men in mining and unions I think, that were saying this.

I have a feeling that quite a bit of this is likely true. As we all figure, the officials over there are very easily bought. And ministers are placed with much political pandering.

I was wondering about one aspect of this.....hear me out.

I suppose it may be possible that this is all being done behind Chavez's back....there are many who are frustrated at his lack of doing anything regards Las Cristinas, and Las Brisas....( I hadn't heard that VZ took back GRZ's concession, did anyone? ) What I'm wondering is, what if Chavez, having realized that he had no plitical/legal way of getting LC from KRY, that he basically told his ministers etc. that they could go ahead, 'behind my back', and work out whatever they could to get the mines in others hands. Irrigardless of legalities, if they ( Herrera and this Rigby fella ) could find a buyer, and through CVG and Minervn's contacts in the army/police and attorney generals office, get these people on site and setting up, it would be a big coup. Now sure, it would start all sorts of legal action, but Chavez could claim it was not the governments doing, the ministeries involved would say it was not their decision.....on and on. This would be tied up in court for a very very long time. The International Court would have a real mess on their hands, because they would be dealing with a whole lot of stonewalling and BS from so many different factions in VZ. Meanwhile, someone would be mining LC and LB. Maybe this is why Chavez has been away so long. He can claim he didn't know.

Now, who knows, maybe Fung is part of this backdoor dealing, and maybe also this is part of the beginning of a coupe de ta. It is somewhat interesting that Chavez has been away so much lately, and so long this time....is he under threat?

I'm sure there is a huge swell of frustration building in VZ, especially in the higher echelons, who, when it comes down to it, want to stay in power, more than they want to stay with Chavez. And they want to make money on the side. Can't do that if there's no business being undertaken. So maybe we're seeing the middle of the end of dick head.

Just another conspiracy theory......this is kinda like a raffle......just pick get your ticket, and wait for the announcement.
