Just catching up with this thread and arrived here.
EZ, I think you hit the nail right on the head in your discussion of the vocally "frustrated" and the "reserved frustrated". Everybody has to express themselves in a way that makes them feel heard.
But I would like to expand the other point of your communication if you don't mind.
As far as Fung, if he is (and I believe he is) engaged in negotiating a resolution to this situation with the VZs or a third party, I am absolutely sure there is a nondisclosure agreement of some sort in place.
The only time we will get to know the workings of these negotiations is when we are informed after it has resulted in the outcome Fung believes is right, or it fails, at which time we will experience and abrupt end to KRY's future as an investment and will read the chronology of its last days.
Regardless, we will find out what "was" happening.
To which I must make a point. As investors we all understand the workings and the hard and fast rules of the market regarding disclosure by the companies we invest in. If we don't and we invest anyway, that's our fault. One and all.
To think that the company (KRY), in such a sensitive juncture should or could disclose details, overviews or any other relevant information they have agreed to hold in secrecy, just to make investors feel warm and fuzzy, goes against those "hard and fast rules of the market".
So YES Fund has his head down and is working as hard as he can to bring about a resolution as you have mentioned. As for the information many feel they can or should be able to wrestle out of the company via threats of mass disturbances, e-mails or calls. Well... the company has a fiduciary responsibility not to give it to them.
As always... just my opinion.
