Crystallex International Corporation is a Canadian-based gold company with a successful record of developing and operating gold mines in Venezuela and elsewhere in South America
EZ - Your assessment of KRY is based on faith and hope. I appreciate that but it is not a viable market plan.
I fully admit my opinion is biased from my history as a trader and I am not accustomed to being a buy and hold long.
In my world I invest in companies that keep their shareholders informed. I aim for a 20% gain and a 100% gain like GRZ would be spectacular.
I grant that there is a possibility of tremendous gain with KRY, and that is why I still have a very large position. But that possibility is based on hope, faith and trust. It is not based on market opinion or facts because the ONLY facts we know are that KRY has at least one lawsuit pending and we will run out of cash some time in the next 9 weeks.
Fung may be as incredible as you say but there is no factual evidence. Everything we see in the press from Hugo down to the president of CVG (our supposed partner) is very negative on KRY. To believe in Fung we have to dismiss a tremendous amount of press. We have to believe that the president of CVG who has been blasting KRY , blaming us for all the problems and stating that we will not mine LC is lying. Since this comes from VZ, a corrupt dictatorship, I am willing to give some credit.
KRY has had the same story of being in discussions with high level VZ officials and the talks are positive. While all this takes place VZ high level officials from all levels have been blasting KRY as evil and the cause of all their problems. They have proclaimed at all levels that KRY will never mine LC. The recent actions toward GRZ show that VZ does not feel obligated to pay back companies that invest in VZ.
With all this as backround just what are we supposed to hold on to as a positive with regards to our investments? We can ASSUME Fung has something in the works and has informed the bondholders but why is THEIR claim more important than OURS? We know nothing.
I will say again that my EXPECTATION is the next PR we get is KRY's bankruptcy, but I REMAIN invested. I do not expect any resolution to take us beyond .50 because I think KRY's decision to trust VZ (liars) rather than protect its shareholders has taken arbitration out of the arsenal. In any case I do not see a PPS above $1 in the next few years.
This said, I will be the first person to eat crow and blast myself for being wrong. My 200k remaining shares will be reward enough.
All I ask is that each of us take off the rose coloured glasses and demand answers for the protection of our hard earned dollars. The only thing we have seen is options grants for employees. It is time to demand justification for shareholders who PAID for their shares.
