i think you nailed it in the title of your post...the problem IS with venezuela..not hugo..

hugo's style of government needs the masses to be poor and dependant on the government to survive. it's in his best interest to keep everyone desperate and jobless...then blame the empire to the north...

there comes a time when the masses have to own up and say "hey, maybe this is'nt gonna work. let's put some new clown in office and see how he f's us"...

so far, hugo has been feeding the ven people massive amounts of BS and they just keep eating it...they grumble once in awhile but for the most part i think the majority of venezuelans enjoy having a welfare state...
