I was on the Yahoo board when he first appeared. Like me he was a trader, but he liked the attention of confrontation. Initially he was pro-KRY but when people blasted him as is common against traders he blasted back. He sold his KRY in the $3's on a gain if you believe he bought when he said he did (I do). He then launched an anti KRY campaign and I think the attention he got from this just created his persona. The more people blasted him the crasser he got. His persona evolved into a multitutde of ID's and I don't even know if they are the same original Vegas. The first one used to be able to converse civally with me, Pam and others. The later version hated everyone.

That marked the demise of YAHOO message board. Prior to this it had its share of pumpers and bashers as well as people with honest DD. It devolved into a basher haven and most of the people seeking DD came here. YAHOO now is a wasteland. In fact I have yet to find a YAHOO message board for any stock that is nothing less than bashers vs pumpers.

In my time there I was always a realist balancing the good DD with the bad. My recent outbursts of negativity here have been spurred by my concern that this board was becoming a haven for pumpers who have as little substance as the bashers on Yahoo did and can be equally as damaging. My position has always been to look at all DD good and bad and make informed decisions while holding our mgt to the fire lest a repeat of April 30'th occur.

This board was a haven for people seeking frank discussion positive and negative. I hope that it remains so and does not become a reverse YAHOO board.
