NPR story about mining in Ghana

Marketplace on NRP tonight had a feature story on how Ghana has streamlined laws to encourage gold mining. Newmont was highlighted as having a large gold mine with another on the way. People were quoted on both sides of the issue of whether or not the mines benefit local people. Interesting story. Here is the link:
