The article in VZ that quotes Agapov and his text message, has Agapove referring to Venrus, not Rusoro. Did someone see where RC said that it was Rusoro that was going to benefit? I can't remember.

The judge could decide to wait till the new year to hand down a decision, or, if he is swayed by KRY's argument, he could wait to see if there are any developments in January, rather than rule one way or the other now

Another possibility, is that the noteholders proceeded so as to be ready (if the ruling came down in their favor) to act, but would still hold off, because they DO see a chance that some solution will be coming in the new year. If say at the end of January, nothing developed, they can immediately go for the $$$$$.
