If something was leaked causing someone to purchase all these shares a couple weeks ago, then why aren't they continuing to purchase? Why aren't others? If (big IF) something is truly in the works that will yield us a few bucks a share, there won't be any question in the price action and volume. It will be strong and consistent. 20M shares in one day will be nothing.
