On NYSE - KRY sp still on the downside of the cycle. Stoch, MAC, and OBV look Bearish on all timeframes. Some glimmer (might be glitter because of the Holidays) in the OBV on 60min at this time. May take a bit more time for this to shake out, so be patient.

S&P500 up a little. Technicals show a bounce off of the lower BB and now looking to touch the upper BB sometime in the next few days. Options Expiration Week - might be aware. XOM buys XTO (now up 15%, more earlier) so NatGas Stocks all pretty much gapping up. Oil stocks following right behind. Banks meeting with Obama for some chit-chat. Bank stocks mixed. RecessProofers up again today.

Gold up, and gold miners following. AEM a laggard at this time. Overnight, gold opened downward to begin the week, then got a boost from Hong Kong, sold off a bit early-on in London until the Brits went to lunch when gold got another little boost, and seems to be running between $1120-1125.

Biggest shipping day of the year. Tiger apparently a non-Market issue on no-golf indefintely. CJR appears to be still resting after a wild weekend.
