Today's Trading, Last of 2009

On NYSE - Kry sp currently seeing lots of down pressure in this last day of 2009 trading. Volume about 675k at this time. Daily Mac not wanting to get back up, Stoch peaked and turning, OBV non-supportive. 15min and 60min totally Bearish. Not a very good way to end the year.

S&P down about half a percent. Yesterday's volume was about one-eighth of normal, so expect today to be no better in volume. NatGassers down, Oils generally up, Gold Miners up, Restaurants Down, Technology generally Up, Retail Down, Ocean Shuppers Down, RecessProofers Down. Might find lots of opportunity out there, but be careful and please stay Diversified.

Gold boosted overnight to above $1105, came back down and at $1095'ish at this time, but trying to move up for a decent NYMEX close.

Mistyped in my earlier Monday report about the end of the decade. Looks like it was a test that no one called me on. Because there is no year-zero, this is not the end of the decade, next year will be.

However, it is a Blue Moon (once every 19 years on New Year's) and there is an eclipse tonight. In Norcal we will not be able to see these wonderful things, but maybe other parts of the US and Canada will.
