JC - GRZ has much fewer shares outstanding and a lower avg daily volume. These stocks are less liquid so someone selling (or buying) 10,000 shares would have a greater impact on the price because there are fewer shares on each level.

By manipulating I don't think EZis talking about sinister MM stuff. Rather more like making some strategic buys in a low liquidity stock to create an "impression" of something positive happening to get others to join in so you can sell.

Sometimes that works, but often you get stuck with no way out and end up selling lower. That's the main reason I for the most part stayed away from GRZ.

That said, I DO believe there is value in GRZ via their filing, but I also think that speculative value has topped. That's why the big swings on low volumeare back.
