So its Mid-2006, I can see things in the economy unraveling. I make a fundamental decision to switch from traditional equities to Gold. I don't go with a major because I want the potential for explosive growth. I settle on a Canadian company which has a binding contract with Ven to mine the biggest gold mine in South America. They also had two producing gold mines which meant to me they weren’t a shell company. Sure they weren’t profitable but they were investing heavily in a giant project. Stock has good news everyday. We go from 2.75 all the way up to 4.85. What a rollercoaster up down up down all on speculation.
The 2007 Easter incident brings it all to a head. Everybody and I mean everybody is sure Crystallex is going to get the permit (bond taxes all that). It never happens but what if.
1. Crystallex receives permit June 1st 2007. Stock soars on news, hits $7.
2. We pull back to 4 to 5 range after initial shock.
3. Oct 2007 we get financing of 1billion to start building the mine.
4. Nov 2007 we renegotiate contract and receiving permission to mine 400,000 ounces per year.
3. Company notifies Share holder’s equipment is shipping Dec 2007.
4. Mine construction begins. We start of a steady climb from 5 up to 10.
5. 2008, during mine construction financial systems collapse. Good thing we have financing.
6. After Bank meltdown money pours into gold. We are in construction phase and are now a mid major. Money pours in. We are now at 15 -20.
7. 2009 hits we are now producing gold at 400,000 ounces a year. Gold now soars to 1000+. Our gold is worth 480,000,000 a year.
8. Jan 2010 Kry stock at $25.
