I could conjure up so many positive things from these resignations but will refrain. It would be nice to know the reasons and if Ortega was following Ramon or Ramon was following Oetega's lead. It will be interesting to see who replaces Ortega.

One thing that came to mind is that Ortega was supposed to be in a battle with Sanz over the mining industry. Now that she is leaving does this mean that Sanz has won the battle. There was even talk about Sanz being responsible for mining permits at one point.

What we have is a mining industry in shambles and people protesting every day. The heat on Chavez is rising every day and no jobs are being created because their have been no permits issued. If this leads to permits being issued we are finally at the point where if Kry doesn't receive a permit our path will be clear.

These next couple weeks could prove very interesting.
