The resignation of president Hugo Chavez demanded a group of ex- comrades-in-arms, ex- ministers and members of the Constituent Assembly of 1999, who are grouped in the Constitutional Pole and for which the agent chief executive “does not have moral and material authority to govern, inasmuch as he does not respond to the satisfaction of the exigencies of the town”.

In press conference realised yesterday, the last president of the extinct Congress of the Republic, ex- minister of the Interior and ex- chancellor, Luis Alfonso Davila, read the official notice where the exigency is formulated.

“Everything what you argued to arrive at the power, nowadays the illegal thing. The town suffers by the personal insecurity, of less freedom, legal and social security; the poverty of our people is deepened. The services public: water, electricity and urban cleanliness are a chaos. The improductividad lead to the food shortage; the infrastructure works of the country are aggravated for want of maintenance; the economy lives the one on its deeper crises in spite of the oil abudancia (...) corruption, that constitutes the moral stigma of a government and was flag of its political proposal, today has in its salary the illicit enrichment more obscene than it has been present at the country. Civil servants, relatives and personages, met like the “Boliburgueses”, have sacked governments, ministries, mayorships, companies of the State”, can read themselves in the writing.

In the document, the Constitutional Pole lashed the judicial processes initiated against adversaries of the Government and the repression untied against the students who from the past week come protesting against the exit of Caracas Radio Television the International of the systems of television by subscription.

On the attacks against mass media, the group indicated that these “corroborate the permanent violation shameless and of the human rights, supreme and universal values, incorporated to the Constitution, which combined to the abuse, the systematic way and the irresponsibility they reinforce, in addition, its ilegitimidad of performance”.

The document was endorsed by the ex- minister of the Defense, Raul Baduel; the ex- commanders of the 4 of February of 1992 Yoel Acosta and Jesus Urdaneta, among others.

They discard the revocatory one On the other hand, the component Hermann Escarrá expressed his rejection to accept the challenge that comes in the last sending to the head from the State days, so that their adversaries activate new referendo a revocatory one.

The jurist justified his refusal indicating that this figure “was disfigured” by the Supreme Court of Justicia (TSJ), transformed which it into a plebiscite, when indicating that so that cash becomes it only needs that the number of votes in favor of the revocatory one is major that the number of votes that originally the civil servant chose, but that number is major that the one that is against.

Finally, Escarrá maintained that the exit to the present crisis happens to support the social protest and to fortify the electoral mechanisms.
