"The corrupt status quo has been bubbling along quite nicely all these years. However....time is no longer on the side of those who would like to maintain the status quo. An exposure to billions of dollars in arbitration is orders of magnitude larger monetarily than the profits being made by maintaining the corrupt status quo. The rock is being raised and all of the snakes are exposed and slithering into the grass. Politically speaking, one could make the same argument. The small time parochial politics that have kept the corrupt status quo in place are being eclipsed by politics on an international level where, indeed, El Piggo is struggling for his own survival."

GW, I hope your right but realistically this type of situation can go on for years more. Some here are putting forth time frames that have no more basis other than hope for the sake of the investment return hoped for. Sure things can go rank down there but the possibility exists that Chavez could win out in any sort of conflict or challenge. That's a possibility. It just may not go the way we want it to politically, nobody knows.
