EZ, I've never been opposed to Fung receiving options. I'm opposed to him not putting his money where we have put ours. What risk has he taken if this doesn't work out? He collected a nice paycheck for years. If it goes bad what does he lose? His options expire, big deal. All that does is forfeit upside. He doesn't lose anything like we do.
Tell me, would you not think it is a bullish sign if he and other members of the company (board, mgmt) purchased shares in the open market with their own money? I know others think so because they get all giddy when the insider reports are published and RM has bought a few more shares. People were also all excited when Tradewinds, Greywolf and Steelhead (insiders) were gobbling up shares. Now they're all selling off and not many people take notice. Odd.
And based on what we've heard about Fung's personal financial situation, I'd put my resume up against his any day of the week thank you. I'm sick of hearing about Fung's track record. It's ancient history. What has he done for us in the past 5 years? Answer....nothing. People all give him credit for his Chinese connections. What good are the doing us? We are still in the same boat. They don't appear to be helping. Prove me wrong Mr. Fung. I'd love to eat crow but I personally am not going to give this guy the benefit of the doubt any longer. I know of a few things that occurred a few years ago that are not public that cast serious doubt on Fung and that has always bothered me. But I gave him the benefit of the doubt based on this so called sterling reputation of his. Well, I'm still waiting Mr. Fung. Prove me wrong.
