10:28 a.m. Caracas .- By Presidential Decree No. 7347, was today named Joseph Khan, who is a director of the Central Bank of Venezuela, as the new Minister of Basic Industries and Mining, Rodolfo Sanz replacement.

Khan also temporarily assumes the presidency of the Corporación Venezolana de Guayana (CVG), according to the decree published today in the Official Gazette N ° 39,396, dated Monday, April 5.

Basic Industries Minister, who had taken office between 2006 and 2008, replaces Sanz at a time when basic industries experiencing a labor crisis and production, Reuters reported.
