Thanks for the clarification Smash. Maybe next time you can say that 'you feel', or you 'think', instead of stating it 'is', which leads one to think that you are stating a fact that you know about.

I still don't understand your conclusion that 'nothing has changed. The Crystallex MOC covers roughly 1,100 hectares ( about 3000 acres ). The actual concessions cover what, about 10 times that. The disturbed area around the LC camp is maybe 100-200 acres. That leaves a huge area where co-ops/artisan miners could be. RM has emphatically stated that ther disturbed area is much as it was 6 years ago, and quite similar to what it was in the 60's-70's-80's.

I guess to put this discussion to rest, I'll e-mail Richard and specifically ask if there is sanctioned mining going on in the Chrystallex concession area, and if so, where.
