Yes I am bashing the CEO. I've done so privately (to his face) and publicly at the AGMs and on message boards. I think he's done a terrible job as CEO and he knows my opinion of his work performance.

But I've also gone on record recognizing that Chavez is completely unpredictable and I've never said Fung could predict the unpredictable. But I also said KRY should not have told the investing public that the "permit was imminent", "sooner rather than later", "in the near future" etc. Even if they were told that by third and second string bananas in a banana republic.

Unless you're talking directly to Chavez you're not talking to the right man. And even then it's doubtful your talks will mean much because Chavez likes to change his mind with the shifting of his rhetoric.

Regardless of what risk factors they are forced, by law, to publish, KRY worked very hard to convince the investors that they were talking to the right people and that the permit would be coming soon.

The truth is, no matter how hard they worked, and I agree they have tried their best, their best has not been good enough and that starts with Fung.

And I'm not just talking about predicting Chavez I'm talking about misstated financial reports and lousy financing deals that mostly served Fung.
